It's not widely known, but the Nintendo Wii is much more than a gaming machine, and in fact with the right tools, anyone can turn their Wii into a multimedia powerhouse. While the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles are widely considered to be more 'multimedia oriented' consoles than the Wii, the new Wii downloads site Wii Media Downloads is working towards changing that perception by offering a download service where users can download games, movies and music for the Wii.
